Cancellation Policy

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase contract (book purchase) within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date on which the contract was concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) informing us of your decision to withdraw from your purchase contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose or send us a letter to the following postal address.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online at Cancellation or by e-mail to info@childstories.org. If you use the online function, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt containing the content of the notice of withdrawal, as well as the exact date and time of receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

If you withdraw from your purchase contract, we shall refund to you all payments we have received from you without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.

The subject matter of this contract is exclusively digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium. These files will be made available to you for immediate download immediately after successful payment.

In the case of a contract for the provision of digital content not supplied on a physical medium (in this instance: e-book files in PDF, EPUB, KEPUB and AZW3), your right of withdrawal expires early if we have commenced performance of the contract after you

1. have expressly agreed that we may begin performing the contract before the end of the withdrawal period,
2. you have confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent, you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract begins, and
3. we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract in accordance with Section 312f of the German Civil Code (BGB).

You give this consent and confirmation during the ordering process by ticking the box provided for this purpose. Immediately afterwards, we will make the files available for you to download; your right of withdrawal expires at this point. You will receive confirmation of the contract, including your above declarations, by email.

If you accept the cancellation policy at checkout and click on the ‘Place order’ button, you are expressly instructing us to commence the selected service before the expiry of the cancellation period. You acknowledge and expressly agree that your right of withdrawal expires upon full performance of the contract. The contract is deemed to have been fully performed when you download the eBook you have ordered for a fee.
